And….spring has sprung! What an amazing dinner auction, huh?! SO much fun!! Thank you, Michele Winter for managing all things auction. Thank you to all the volunteers, bidders, winners, attendees, sponsors, and donation givers. It takes a village to have a successful event. You did! Thank you!!Final numbers aren’t in yet but will be discussed at our April PFC meeting.

We hosted a PFC popsicle social at the park. It was great meeting fellow parents and talking with people who are interested in volunteering on our PFC. There have been many who signed up to manage an event or take on a position. We still have a few positions that need to be filled for the 2017-2018 school year. Sadly, if these positions aren’t filled we miss opportunities to raise money and will be forced to cut our budget, causing things like our back to school BBQ to be cancelled and funds for supplies for our teachers to be lessened. Our election is held at Open House on May 25th. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please, let us know.

In April we will have a book fair that benefits the reading incentive program. Watch for opportunities to volunteer. Also, we are working on amending our Bylaws. Suggestions will be made at our April 11th meeting. Take a look at them at If you have suggestions, please let us know. The end of April will finish with a family movie night on the 28th.

Our PFC meeting is on April 11th at 7pm in the Library. We will form our election committee among a few additional items. I hope to see you there.
